Nau mai ki Puāwai Creative
Puāwai Creative was born from a desire that two sisters had to connect to te ao Māori and reclaim the language. It is hoped that these traditionally handmade rongoā pani (skin care products) provide a space in this fragmented world where connection and hope can be tangibly felt every day. Puāwai embodies a journey of growth, self-discovery and learning; intentionally using matauranga Māori practices to ignite rongoā creativity.

It is the heart of Puāwai Creative to leave behind a legacy that tamariki and mokopuna will grow up in a world where being Māori is something to be proud of and celebrated, a world where they are surrounded by taonga and reo that affirms who they are.
Creating personal products, beneficial to all who invest in their own and whānau wellbeing yet helps to promote and normalise the Māori language and culture.
Products are purposely designed to be treasured as taonga; used in every day life.
